Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost to join Ridge Swim Club?

The cost of membership to join the Ridge is $1,200.00. This includes a $1,000 bond fee (refundable upon termination of membership) as well as a nonrefundable $200 initiation fee. Please remember that in addition to the initial membership fees you will be billed annual dues.

What are the annual dues?

Once you have become a bonded member, you pay annual dues for use of the pool. The annual dues for 2009 are $450.00. The Board of Directors reviews the cost of operating the facility annually, set a budget and adjust the annual dues accordingly. Dues are billed to the members in February and must be paid by April 1st of each year.

Are any payment plans available?

In order to help those interested in joining the pool there are payment options available. Please contact for information concerning payment options.

How can my family join Ridge Swim Club?

Please contact to check the availability of a membership. Memberships are sold on a first come, first serve basis. When a bond becomes available it must be purchased immediately, we do not hold memberships. In the event the pool is at the membership capacity you will be added to the wait list and contacted once a membership becomes available.

Can I purchase an individual membership?

No, RSC does not offer individual memberships; all 360 memberships are family memberships. Specially-priced individual memberships are not available. However, there is no restriction on any individual buying a family membership if they are so inclined.

Are there any other membership options?

Yes, at this time we are currently offering two other memberships options, Summer Membership and August Privileges.

A Summer Membership is a one season trial membership. It allows you to use the pool during the current summer; however, it expires when the pool closes for the season. This is a great opportunity to try the pool to see if it is something you wish to buy into. However, you must understand that it in no way guarantees a bonded membership for next summer, nor is the fee that you pay for the Summer Membership applied to the cost of becoming a bonded member. The cost for a Summer Membership for the 2010 season is $650.

August Privileges allow you to use the pool from August 1st until closing day, Labor Day. This type of membership is available starting in mid-July for a fee of $200. This fee is not applied to any of the costs associated with becoming a bonded member. Again, this membership in no way guarantees a bonded membership for the next summer.
